The Project Assistant reports to the Provincial Program Manager, and receives technical input, mentoring and oversight from the UNICEF Project Coordinator, and works closely with the OPHID FACE-HIV district team. The Project Assistant is responsible and accountable for all aspects of the project within his/her district. He/she supports the DHE and the HCWs and VHWs within the district healthcare sites to integrate the provision of HIV and nutrition services for children under five years old suffering from Severe Acute Malnutrition and Moderate Acute Malnutrition. He/she is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the project within his/her allocated district.
